While I always recommend against sending batch & blast email (aka one identical email to everyone on your list), there are ways to send basically one email to everyone and still get results. What’s the answer? Segmentation.
Segment your email list by:
- Lurkers – They’re on your list, but you don’t have any proof that they have purchased anything from you before.
- Casual Buyers – They’re on your list, and they have purchased something from you.
- Raving Fans – They’re on your list, and they have purchased a lot from you. (this would be like rewards program members, club members, etc.)
Figure our what these groups are for your business.
Then send emails to your whole list using these segments to make the email individualized and relevant to them!
