The business of being in business

Learning New Things at any age

This week, I wanted to share some insights illuminated for me by my 1st-grader, my preschooler, and my potty-trainer! Our children have a wealth of real wisdom to share with us if we will only observe, and I’m finding very real applications of their specific learning style in my growing business that I hope you’ll find valuable as well.

To sum it up – learning like a kid means:

  1. Tracing. Find somebody who has gone before you and use their learnings as a roadmap to keep you from going too off-the-rails
  2. Repetition. Don’t just try something once and decide you’re no good. The secret to learning new things and really getting something out of it is actually committing to doing the work over and over again.
  3. Always, always, ALWAYS: make it fun.

If email marketing is a skill you want to learn, I invite you to join my email party to be first to receive an invite to my upcoming masterclass: “The Three Secrets to Making Money with your Email Campaigns.” Email Party subscribers will be first to know about their opportunity to register for this value-packed session where I’ll reveal how you can make more revenue with email marketing.

I can’t wait to see you there!
