Pre-Holiday Email Campaign Prep, Part 2

Last week, we kicked-off a three-part series dedicated to using SEPTEMBER to crush October – November – December. And in last week’s Learnin’ Thursday episode, we dove deeper on the very important task of planning your Q4 email campaigns NOW. If you haven’t already done so, watch me break down a simple 15 minute planning session process that will get you through this endeavor lickety-split.

This week, we are discussing the importance of using the rest of this month to really double down on your list growth efforts.

Grow your email list NOW to be ready for the holidays

Watch the video. There are three action items outlined.

  1. ASK: Can I use some of my upcoming holiday promotions as a hook to grow my email list? If so, update your email program value statement to incorporate this holiday-specific hook through the end of the year.
  2. Make sure you are asking for email in a prominent way in ALL THE PLACES. Physical location, website, social media, events (onsite and off)… Update your email asks to reflect the holiday-specific hook you came up with in Question #1.
  3. If you haven’t already, audit your social media bios / profile pages to make sure you have an easy to find way to subscribe to your email list from all of them!
