Email Marketing Best Practice

The “Scale-Your-Biz” ‘tweener dilemma

This week’s LIVE had a weird disconnect between the audio and video, so you get the audio only! 🙂

In this session, I’m sharing a few ideas for growing your business by bringing on support. Can’t really afford a new hire, but want to double your business this year? Here are some tips to take your business to the next level.

First, know your numbers

What is your revenue target? What is your “need-to” take home number? Where is the margin? If you don’t know where you’re headed, you’re going to struggle to gain momentum or make solid decisions on what steps to take.

Next, consider your staffing options

You’re probably going to need to bring on some support to get to that revenue target. You can:

a. Hire somebody and dip into profitability.

b. Hire a contractor who specializes in whatever you think will be the best focus area to scale your business

c. You can DIY it. Learn the new skill yourself. Double your output to double your business (at the risk of burn-out).

d. You can bring on a guide who can show you the way.

Which are you most excited about? What makes the most sense for your business? I’d love to hear from you in the comments.

And, if option D resonates, and you are ready to create a revenue stream for your business driven by email…
